Provolone Pineapple Bacon Burgers
Grilled right it's truely a delight!

2 lbs of lean ground beef (or use ground chuck for less fat)
1 can of sliced pineapple (save juice)
4 slices of good provolone cheese
8 strips of cooked bacon (don't over cook)4 traditional hamburger buns or Onion Buns)

1. Prepare ground beef into 4 1/4 lb patties, season as desired and begin grilling.

2. On the last flip of the burger, place a slice of pineapple on each burger and spoon the reserved juice in the center of the pineapple.

3. Place 2 strips of becaon on top of pineapple

4. Place Provolone cheese on top of bacon.

5. Close lid of grill unitl provolone melts around bacon and pineapple (about 2-3 minutes).

6. Serve burger on toasted onion bun. Best with mayo only!

My kids love these, always a hit.
